BIXBY KNOLLS LITERARY SOCIETY TO MEET IN MARCH

Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association is happy to announce the Bixby Knolls Literary Society. This is a brand new community book club that will meet monthly in Bixby Knolls businesses to discuss literature. The focus of the club will be American literature both current and classic. Nino’s Italian Restaurant will be host for the monthly discussions. Each month a different special guest will lead the discussion. The meetings may expand into showcases for local artists and musicians over the next few months. All details are below:

Guest Discussion Leader: Will Swaim, Publisher & Editor-in-Chief, The District Weekly

The first 35 members to sign up will receive a copy of “Book by Authors,” an anthology of creative works by local writers and artists. The book was conceived and designed by Ryan Smolar, Smolarcorp, and partnered with the Long Beach Public Library Foundation.
